That's a great thread. I have a question. I'm building nostr search. Search needs global visibility. It will have to become a big thing that knows a lot, and prioritizes some things in search results. Am I inevitably moving to the platform-kind behavior? Could there be hope for global high quality search to exist, without various forms of rug-pulling described in this thread? If we replace ads as revenue source with direct LN payments from searchers, does this improve the incentives much? Would love to hear your opinion on this.
