Had similar idea just an hour earlier. I want to try such virtual relays to a) fight spam and b) global feed personalization. Connect to /trusted, and relay shadow-bans all low quality events - doesn't serve them, unless specifically asked for them by id. Connect to /npubxxx and relay shadow bans everything written by anyone other than npub's contact list etc. Gonna try that next week. Would this be hard to do in your relay?
